Our commitment
James Wangelin and Marcy Wangelin, brokered by eXp Realty, follow federal, New York State and local fair housing laws. We serve every client without discrimination and give everyone the same professional service.
New York State Fair Housing Notice
New York requires real estate licensees to display the Department of State's Fair Housing Notice. Read the official notice at dos.ny.gov/fair-housing. The notice covers New York State Human Rights Law.
Buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords also receive the New York State Housing and Anti-Discrimination Disclosure Form (DOS-2156) at first substantive contact.
Protected classes
Federal law prohibits housing discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status and disability.
New York State Human Rights Law also prohibits discrimination based on creed, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military status, citizenship or immigration status, lawful source of income (including housing assistance), and status as a victim of domestic violence, along with the federal protected classes.
